SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Take off shoes when breaking baobab
Make sure that you are not suffering from any of the following disorders:
- Influenza
- Diarrhoea or Dysentry
- Vomiting
- Skin diseases e.g. Scabies
- Eye disorders
- Ear disorders
- Dizziness
- Coughing of any kind
- Liver disorder
- Any communicable disease.
Other precautions
- Do not put on strong perfume or lotion with strong smell
- Do not use soap with strong smell (bathing or washing)
- Do not put on watches, wedding rings, ear rings and any other ring
- Put clothes with no buttons e.g. T-shirts
- Put phones away from the working area
- Do not put on necklaces, bungles etc.
Storage
- Keep the pulp in clean bags and at a cool dry place
- Keep the bags away from the wall (50 cm) and on pallets or poles
- The storage place should be well secured to protect the pulp from animals and thieves.
