• Soybean grain is conveniently stored when packed in 50kg bags.

• Place 50kg bags of clean soybean grain on pallets or poles in a shed.

• Pallets/poles allow air circulation and prevent contact of bags of soybean with the floor that may emit moisture.

• Place soybean bags away from walls to allow air circulation and prevent contact of bags of soybean grain with the wall that might emit moisture

• Do not leave soybean exposed to high temperatures to avoid seed quality deterioration.

Key features of a good storage facility

• Clean and dry – inside as well as around the store house. Well-ventilated, guarded against rodent and bird entry. Roof that does not leak when it is raining, no physical contaminants & secure.
