Market opportunities in Malawi for Moringa leaf powder are pharmacies, herbal clinics, bus stations and selected filling station shops. These outlets/shops require packaging of 250 g and 500 g sachets or bottles. Moringa oil is currently not sold locally.

In additional to internal markets, there are opportunities for international markets within Africa as well as beyond. In these markets, packaging may be in bigger quantities like 10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg bags. However, additional packaging type can be sought from the prospective buyer. The Ministry of Trade may provide more information on this.

Label the packaged moringa powder or oil accordingly. This includes the product name, weight, ingredients, source. Other labelling requirements can also be sought from the buyer.
