• But in this context chickens are targeted.
• Chickens have two primary products i.e meat and eggs, hence chickens are usually categorized according to their production (meat or eggs)

• Source of manure
• For settling disputes
• Source of income
• No cultural or religious beliefs against keeping or consuming them
• Easy to manage
• Require less keeping space.
