Walk in a zig zag pattern through their fields and check every plant they walk past for pests.
If more than 10% of plants are heavily infected they should spray the field. For FAW, spray if 30% of the scouted plants have been affected.

Notifiable pests should be reported to the nearest agricultural office immediately they are noticed.
