Soya is attacked by different diseases and different pests like caterpillars and termites.

Caterpillars

Different types of caterpillars feed on leaves, flowers and soya pods. This can be controlled by applying Carbaryl or Cypermethrin mixing with Dimethoate 10EC.

Termites

Termites attack soya at any stage of development and it usually attack when there is drought. The attacked plant wilt then falls on the ground. Termites can be managed by crop rotation and application of chlorpyrifos.
